Marching Band

The Robert Morris University Marching Band has established itself as one of the most exciting and unique college marching bands in the Mid-Atlantic states.  From their informal apparel, to the high energy performance and driving sound, the RMU Marching Band has a reputation for presenting an incredibly entertaining show. The members of the RMU Marching Band love what they do, and they spread enthusiasm everywhere they perform!

The RMU Marching Band deploys a unique performance type, detracting from the typical Corps style or Big Ten styles found at many high schools.  Our band dances during each of its half-time tunes, providing for an entertaining, high-energy performance every single time.

The Band performs at all RMU home football games, a number of high school band festivals, and civic events, such as the Labor Day in Downtown Pittsburgh, the Bloomfield Halloween Parade, and more. Our fun begins at our Band Camp that is held before Freshman Orientation!

For our 2014-2015 Marching Band season, we will be performing "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark" by Fall Out Boy, "You Can't Stop the Beat" from Hairspray, "Paint it Black" by the Rolling Stones, "Time Warp" from the Rocky Horror Picture Show, and "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs" by Fall Out Boy.

Below, please enjoy our Marching Band Show from the 2013-2014 season, featuring "Moves Like Jagger" by Maroon 5, "Reeling in the Years" by Steely Dan, "Fire" by Jimi Hendrix, "Mambo No. 5" by Lou Bega, and "Dance to the Music" by Sly and the Family Stone.
